Celebrities Give Out Toys at 6th Annual Simin Hope Foundation’s Winter Festival

The SIMIN HOPE FOUNDATION for the sixth consecutive year gave in-need, at-risk, foster, homeless, abused and abandoned children of Los Angeles a Christmas they will never forget with The Sixth Annual Winter Festival,  an afternoon of games, giveaways, delicious food, live music, celebrity guests, and above all real snow!

For the past five years the Simin Hope Foundation, founded by Simin Hashemizadeh, has produced one of the biggest and most impactful holiday events for the underprivileged. This year Simin had the best event ever with even more families receiving free gifts and toys given out by the celebrity guests, free food and drinks, entertainment by world-famous Kidz Bop singer Isaiah Morgan and co-hosted by Navid Negahban, also known as the Sultan from Disney’s live-action Aladdin.

The event was supported fully as always by the LA Police Department who acknowledges it to be one of the biggest and most impactful events of the year. They assisted with every aspect including promotion to the families in need so they know to come, through to having their cadets assist at the event. The partnership between the police force and the foundation is truly inspiring. “The relationship we have with the Simin Hope Foundation is second to none. Her kindness and generosity that she has provided to the entire North Hollywood community are just incredible,” states John Catalano, Senior Lead Officer, LAPD N. Hollywood Police Station. “We are very lucky to have such a person/foundation that we can call a friend.”

Celebrities attended the event throughout the day to show their support for the families and the foundation. Many of them got involved in the giving of food, gifts, and surprises. Celebrities who came out included David Arquette, NFL’s Kerry Rhodes, Esai Morales, Ava Michelle from Netflix’s Tall Girl, NBA’s Vernon Gaines, American Idol’s Brandon Stewart, The Walking Dead’s Vincent Ward, Adam Croasdell, Huw Collins from Pretty Little Liars and more!

The children, many of whom have never had a good Holiday season or seen real snow, were truly impacted by this event that brought joy to their lives with a fantastic event where they were entertained, got to meet Santa Claus, take photos with characters of Mikey Mouse and Minnie, play and sled in real snow, get given a gift by a celebrity, listen to amazing music and eat great food, all made possible by the Simin Hope Foundation.

Tens of thousands of toys were given away including bikes and toy cars. Many have called this clearly the most successful and impactful holiday event of 2019.
