A new groundbreaking documentary by acclaimed director Lee Librado examines controversial facts hitherto unknown by the general population. “Grand Scam” is set to shock and surprise most with no-holds-barred revelations geared to shedding light on the Federal income tax.
Among other facts, Librado’s lens visits the issue of whether the Federal Reserve is really a government agency and whether widely-held notions such as Federal Reserve notes and the value of the dollar are what the public has been led to believe they are. Why for instance, does the Federal Reserve print fiat currency for the U.S.? Do we really need to tax revenue to operate the government? Many ordinary Americans have very little real knowledge about these issues and tend to rely on what the mass media dishes out. “Grand Scam” tackles these and other questions through cutting-edge story-telling.
The film zeroes in on what the filmmakers believe is one of the largest and most blatant financial crimes committed against the American people. The documentary aims to uncover overt and covert collusion between big business, big media, and big government. According to Librado, this is no conspiracy theory; it is ironclad truth kept under wraps by those who seek to delude the American public.
Director Lee Librado is no stranger to premium motion picture journalism. His stellar career extends from the award-winning documentary “Latin Legends,” to the story of six of the greatest Latin fighters of all time and “The Original 7ven,” a story covering Prince’s legendary musical group “The Time”.
For “Grand Scam”, Librado managed to assemble an assortment of subject-matter experts in a variety of industries. One is Dave Champion. Dave hosted his own TV show from 2012 to 2015 entitled “The Dave Champion Show” whose tagline read: “The Truth…like it or not.” Dave possesses extensive expertise in federal and state regulatory matters in addition to authoring a popular publication, “Income Tax: Shattering The Myths,”. His experience makes him competent to discuss what he deems “meaningful tax reform,” which he feels is unlikely to pass this year or even in the near future. His belief is that “tax simplification” is a ruse aimed at duping the middle class into accepting burdensome tax increases. He also believes the current Treasury administration employs crafty wordplay to distract the public from conducting an honest assessment of the current administration’s income tax reform strategy.
Another expert who contributes to “Grand Scam” is John Lochow. John is a renowned global business leader, successful entrepreneur, noted philanthropist, military veteran, and advocate for veterans in addition to acclaimed air transport crew member who flew 38 missions in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. He also participated in foreign policy initiatives in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Mediterranean region. John has also launched a string of successful tech start-ups and is an authority figure on cybersecurity, telecommunications, and corporate communications
Not to be outdone, Eddie Craig, an Air Force veteran and host of the Rule of Law radio show on the Logos radio network also lends his voice to “Grand Slam”. Eddie has conducted extensive research into government rules and statutes, especially as pertaining to the “ad valorem” property tax. In the mid 90’s, Eddie Craig came face to face with the effects of a property tax default after his own mother almost lost her property over a delinquent property tax bill. He has since spent the past eleven years researching the various Texas Codes such as the Transportation Code. Vigorous study and research revealed the truth, most government employees know even less about the language and application of the law than the general public. Angered by the cavalier attitudes of public servants, Craig sought out other like-minded people to exchange ideas and find a remedy, which led him to his radio show. Craig has now dedicated himself to “fighting the good fight” against the willful ignorance that consumes our public servants.
